What is Pip?

Pip is a simple reward system for classrooms and families. Cozy on mobile, clear on web. Same Pips, same philosophy—celebrate wins, build habits.

  • For teachers: Reward individual students, keep parents in the loop, and bring more encouragement to your classroom.
  • Positive-only philosophy—celebrate wins, don’t punish slips.
  • For families: Manage screen time, track habits, and turn real-world wins into tangible rewards.
  • Empower kids to see their progress, save up, and choose their own rewards.

💛 Why Pip?

Like most kids, my boys love their games, their PS5, their tablets, and YouTube. And honestly—I get it. I see the fun, the creativity, the learning that can come from it. I didn’t want an “all-or-nothing” approach to screen time; I just wanted balance.

So, we came up with our own reward system. Instead of money, the boys could earn tokens for good choices—helping out, finishing homework, brushing teeth, being kind. Each token could be traded for “Wi-Fi time” or saved up for a bigger reward. Every Friday was Payday, and they couldn’t wait.

At first, it worked beautifully. We even made our own laminated coins with favorite icons—teachers’ faces, superheroes, silly doodles. The kids were motivated, engaged, and proud.

But then my ADHD sparkle dust settled.

I started forgetting how much a token was worth. I’d lose track of their totals. I’d miss Payday. The idea was great, but my follow-through wasn’t consistent—and that meant the magic started to fade.

That’s when I built Pip.

Pip became the consistent tool I needed. It keeps track of the tokens, the time, and the habits so I don’t have to. Now, the boys can see their wins stacking up in glowing jars, and I can keep up without losing momentum.

It travels with us, sends gentle nudges, and keeps everything in one cozy, happy place. A Pip here, a Pip there—pretty soon you’ve got progress, confidence, and smiles all around. 💛
